Desmoid Cell Line at ATCC
The FIRST publicly available desmoid tumor immortal cell line, HCM-BROD-0762-C49, is now available for purchase at ATCC, a public biorepository based in Manassas, VA. This cell line is positive for the CTNNB1 T41A mutation. It was created by the Cancer Cell Line Factory at the Broad Institute as part of the Human Cancer Model Initiative (HCMI). This tumor-derived model can be used in basic research as well as pharmacological screening applications. Detailed information about this model can be found on the ATCC website and on the HCMI website. Discounted pricing is available to academic researchers.
