Designed with input from DTRF Ambassadors\, this patient-centered event will welcome people at every stage of the desmoid tumor journey\, including those who are newly diagnosed\, longtime community members\, and caregivers. \nAttendees will take part in an interactive introduction and icebreaker activity led by special guest Christina Kosyla\, DTRF Board Member and desmoid tumor patient advocate. Then attendees will participate in meaningful small-group conversations in breakout rooms facilitated by DTRF Ambassadors. \nBreakout rooms will help connect attendees with others who share similar experiences and will be grouped by tumor location. There will also be a dedicated breakout room for caregivers. Please book your room in the DTRF room block as soon as possible. \nFeatured events include: \n\nFriday\, Sept. 25th: Designed for researchers and medical professionals\, the DTRF International Research Workshop is a critically important\, collaborative event for experts in desmoid tumor research from a variety of disciplines. The Research Workshop presents the latest information on desmoid treatments and research\, and facilitates new collaborations to move the science forward each year.\nSaturday\, Sept. 26th: The DTRF Annual Patient Meeting is our signature patient and caregiver event. The meeting includes educational presentations by clinicians and researchers\, community networking\, Q&A sessions with leading desmoid experts\, and an interactive Mock Tumor Board session.
