DESCRIPTION:In honor of Sarcoma Awareness Month\, the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation (DTRF) invites you to a new story-sharing event featuring Amanda is an artist and keynote speaker who is both an Ewing’s sarcoma survivor and currently living with a desmoid tumor. \nThis special virtual event will offer a comforting and supportive space to hear Amanda’s story and amplify the patient voice within the desmoid tumor community. Chaney Pope\, the DTRF’s Communications Manager\, will facilitate the live interview\, followed by a 15-minute Q&A where attendees can connect with Amanda. \nWe encourage you to submit your questions during registration. While we may not be able to answer every question live\, we will select as many as possible to help guide this meaningful community conversation. \nRegister today! \n  \nPlease note: Patients and caregivers are selected for story-sharing opportunities based on their willingness to share their desmoid tumor experience and their availability for upcoming DTRF events\, programs\, or communications. DESCRIPTION:Join patients\, caregivers\, clinicians\, researchers\, and industry professionals for a Weekend of connection\, learning\, and shared understanding with the desmoid tumor community.  \nWhether you are newly diagnosed\, have been navigating your desmoid journey for years\, are supporting a loved one\, or working in the field as a clinician or researcher\, YOU are welcome here! \nAll Weekend events will take place from Sept. 25-27th at the Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel. Please book your room in the DTRF room block as soon as possible. \nFeatured events include: \n\nFriday\, Sept. 25th: Designed for researchers and medical professionals\, the DTRF International Research Workshop is a critically important\, collaborative event for experts in desmoid tumor research from a variety of disciplines. The Research Workshop presents the latest information on desmoid treatments and research\, and facilitates new collaborations to move the science forward each year.\nSaturday\, Sept. 26th: The DTRF Annual Patient Meeting is our signature patient and caregiver event. The meeting includes educational presentations by clinicians and researchers\, community networking\, Q&A sessions with leading desmoid experts\, and an interactive Mock Tumor Board session. All content is geared toward topics of interest to our patient and caregiver community.\nSunday\, Sept. 27th: Close out the Weekend with connection\, movement\, and purpose at the DTRF Wellness Commons.
