We are proof that a community of patients and their advocates can make a difference – and yet there is still more to do. As our community of supporters grows, awareness of desmoid tumors and the work and mission of the DTRF are amplified.
Spreading awareness has a profound impact on our ability to raise desperately-needed funds to accelerate research aimed at better treatment options and, eventually, a cure for desmoid tumors. Awareness has the power to garner more interest in foundational desmoid tumor research and clinical trials, and improve understanding and support for patients among the medical community and beyond.

Fundraise for a Cure through RFA
Fundraising helps raise awareness, and the DTRF RFA 5K & Fun Run is our largest fundraising and awareness event of the year.

Every September, the DTRF and the global patient and caregiver community share stories and information, and rally support to advance desmoid tumor research.

Here’s how it works:
- Make a donation of $50 or more.
- Email development@dtrf.org to let us know how many bracelets you’d like. (We can send you up to 20 bracelets per $50 donated as an acknowledgment of your donation.)
