Join the Crew!
Did you know a monthly donation to the DTRF can shine a light on awareness, advocacy and research for desmoid tumor patients around the world?
Follow these three simple steps to join the crew of devoted, compassionate supporters making a recurring donation to the DTRF:
- Select “Monthly” on our donation page to set up a minimum $35 recurring donation processed automatically at the interval of your choosing.
- Hooray! You’re now part of the crew supporting desmoid tumor patients.
- Receive one Unicorn pin by mail after your monthly donation is processed.
Cancel or change your donation amount at any time by logging into your giving account.

Gifts in Memory and Honor
Many DTRF supporters choose to donate in honor of a loved one or special occasion.
These donations can congratulate, celebrate, honor, or even bring a sense of comfort to a special individual in your life. When you make this type of donation, we will send an acknowledgment to the person or their family.
For online donations, please check “Dedicate my donation in honor or memory of someone” on our donation page.
For donations by check, please include a note with the following information:
- Name of individual for whom the donation is “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” if applicable
- Donor’s name
- Name and email address or mailing address to whom we will send an acknowledgment.
Mail the check and information to the address above.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Many companies will match their employees’ donations to encourage gifting, making your donation go even further.
Some companies also match gifts for spouses, retirees and part-time employees. Our partner, Double the Donation, can help you learn if your employer provides matching donations to nonprofits like the DTRF. The search bar below will get you started.

Donations of Securities
The DTRF accepts donations of securities.
Such donations may be tax-advantageous to the donor. When you donate appreciated securities, you may receive a tax deduction for the current market value of the appreciated securities while avoiding taxation on capital gains. Please contact your financial advisor for guidance. For more information, email us at development@dtrf.org.
Planned and Deferred Gifts
You may arrange to donate to the DTRF through a provision in your will or other means such as charitable gift annuities, trusts, life insurance, etc.
Planned giving, which can be arranged by your attorney, integrates your charitable gift to the DTRF with your overall financial, tax, and estate planning goals. Planned giving will help provide resources for the DTRF to carry out its mission in the years to come.
