Summary

We present a distinctive case of DTF that posed challenges for diagnosis. Patients with superficially located DTF tumors may be more susceptible to tissue damage, and surgeons should exercise extreme caution when making surgical decisions. If surgery is unavoidable, minimizing incisions should be prioritized to prevent the occurrence of new tumors due to trauma. Additionally, prompt postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy may bring therapeutic benefits to DTF patients.
